Pacific Cities And Climate Change Regional Programme

The programme's purpose is to build and enhance capacities of local and national governments in the Asia-Pacific Regional to build climate change resilient human settlements in the face of region's urbanisation context.  In the process the Programme will act as a catalyst by using the approved Development Account Project to develop climate resilient action plans in Fiji, PNG, Samoa and Vanuatu, and expand the CCCI process to new countries including the Solomon Islands by encouraging other development partners to contribute funds on a county by country basis (such as UNDP, Solomon Islands).
