Water For Life Campaign Project For Asia And The Pacific Region (Phase I)

The overall purpose of the project is to contribute to the improvement of urban environmental challenges faced by many cities and towns in the Asia and the Pacific region, by learning from the successful technologies, experience and know-how of private sector companies in Fukuoka city.  The project is also aimed to respond to the good will of citizens of Fukuoka and Japan who have made contribution for the improved living standards of the vulnerable people of Asia and the Pacific region, and moreover for realization of the mandate of UN-Habitat. These activities will further strengthen the relationships between the Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific Region and local partners in Fukuoka.<?xml:namespace>
