Local Area Development Programme Ii

The new phase of the Local Area Development Programme (LADP II) programme aims at strengthening good governance in Iraq by improving delivery of public services, through improved planning and implementation processes at governorate level, reflected in budgetary allocation processes at the Federal level. Based on this, the programme is expected to improve the capacity for planning (sectoral/spatial) and implementation at governorate level, which will result in higher budget execution and service delivery, as well as improve sector wide planning.
