The project's strategic objective is represented in the active
contribution to achieving the strategic vision for the development of Greater
Cairo represented in achieving social justice and economic competitiveness, as
well as being environment-friendly through the development of priority
development projects, participatory planning processes and preparing studies of
institutional, legal and administrative development to contribute to achieving
this vision.

gender strategy and guidelines to integrate gender equality into this project
(GC) especially and the work of GOPP in general.

Achieve
community communication with development partners and relevant parties to the
urban development planning processes.

Skills and
capacity of the employees of the General Organization of Physical Planning and
local development partners in the field of strategic participatory planning,
administration and implementation will be developed.
The outcomes of the project would be the specific changes in
attitudes, behaviors, knowledge, skills, social status, economic level, or
level of functioning that result from project implementation activities, such
as finding a job, reducing polluting emissions by a certain amount..etc.
The project targets to build bridges of communication through bases
of confidence, transparency, and to secure community project support from
development partners and communities concerned with development on the level of
Greater Cairo and its strategic vision project.
It is hoped that the
project will help to enrich the ongoing process of discussion and debate about
the required reforms, seeking to reach consensus on a specific final formula of
the development strategy, including possible adjustments to the development
plan management and the proposed solutions.
