Future Research, Advanced Development And Implementation Activities For Road Transport — Future-Radar

The Horizon 2020 work programme “Smart, green and integrated transport” for 2016 and 2017 includes the topic GV-11-2016 “Stimulating European research and development for the implementation of future road transport technologies” which is perfectly in line with the needs of the European road transport sector. The proposed Support Action FUTURE-RADAR offers a concept and describes the way to address the objectives in order to develop sustainable and viable solutions for the challenges, which the European road transport sector faces today: The challenges faced are too huge and complex for any individual partner of the transport sector. ERTRAC and EGVI members recognise the need for and benefit of a shared vision and a strategic agenda for research, development and innovation. In addition the challenges of technology implementation, the deployment of RTD results and their lasting impact must be discussed in a comprehensive way.
