Improving Service Delivery & Local Economic Development In Secondary Towns In Kenya (2016-2018)

The purpose of the project is to tap into UN-Habitat's global expertise to support sustainable urbanization in Kenya.

Specifically, the project will achieve the following objectives;

Develop a pilot Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (SUMP) that promotes NMT

Strengthen revenue generation streams through improved Local Economic Development (LED) in Kenya

Establish a long term solid waste management strategy that incorporates youth entrepreneurship through waste recycling
