This project is
set up to administer the activities under the MOU with CCUD, in so far as
funding is being provided by CCUD, and will provided by Shenzhen Insititute of Building Research Co. Ltd at the end of Dec 2017.
The results will
reported under 3 WP EAs
· For the conferences : EA1 - Enhanced
awareness on sustainable urban development among the public and the media,
EDM/2016-2017 (6.1)
· For the advisory services to pilot cities : EA2 - Improved
capacity of institutions and individuals who are directly involved in the
formulation and implementation of local and national policies and programmes in
support to the New Urban Agenda and Habitat III - SP7/2016-2017 (3.1)
· For the joint research and publications : EA3 -
Increased dissemination and awareness of knowledge on sustainable urbanisation
issues - SP7/2016-2017 (2.1)
The first funding
agreement of USD102,000 is for two activities:
1. Participation in the first conference in Chengdu on
21-22 July 2017, including staff time and operational costs for coordination
2. Staff time and operational costs for the preparation
of activities under EA2 and EA3
