Pamoja Kwa Amani (Together For Peace) - South Irumu

UN-HABITAT plans to leverage its expertise in land conflict management and land governance to contribute to the results of OS 1 and 2 to address, in a systematic and timely manner, the causes of land conflicts and property, in the middle back and travel, to contribute to the stabilization process in the eastern DRC. UN-Habitat has implemented several projects in the field of mediation of land disputes, land governance, planning and land security. The different components are discussed on the contribution to the pacification of the region through the prevention and resolution of land conflicts by creating local access mechanisms mediating bodies populations; strengthening land governance through capacity building of institutions in charge of the management of such land and land administration chiefs, facilitation of access to land and land security; land reform; participatory community planning land.
