Informing targeted audience of local, national and international decision makers, experts and civil society organisations about the climate change mitigation and sustainable development potential of urban basic services measures and share experiences about the implementation process in the pilot countries;

Inspire experts, officials and practitioners with a dedicated Change Maker capacity building programme. Urban Pathways will work with 10 cities on action plans and specific policy proposal development that initiate implementation, which can be replicated regionally and contribute to the global implementation process of the New Urban Agenda;

Implement pilot action concepts that lead to the implementation of integrated pilot projects in at least three cities and will form the basis for four national low-carbon urban implementation action plans.

All of the project's outputs will contribute to an international knowledge sharing and tracking of progress on the implementation of the New Urban Agenda, and the Sustainable Development Goals and Paris Agreement on the local level.
