Urban Health And Slcp Reduction Project

The Urban Health and SLCP Reduction project promotes the implementation of SLCP reduction strategies by mobilizing and empowering the health sector and building on its influential position, and by demonstrating the full range of health benefits that can be achieved from implementing SLCP and air pollution reduction strategies, particularly at the city level. The project component implemented under this agreement will focus on the mapping of relevant sector policy options to provide a basis for the development oflocal health and economic evidence through sector policy scenarios, as well as the identification, mapping and engagement of key city stakeholders that are instrumental in implementing solutions identified through complementing components of the project ICLEI will bring its experience and expertise in working with local government partners around the world to engage key stakeholders in Accra, so as to advocate for policy change on SLCP and air pollution reduction strategies. 3
